hand2mind Early Childhood Education Materials 97378 Editorial Review
Learning Resources Block-based Coding Student Activity Set For Scratch, Coding For Beginners, Learn To Code, Step By Step Coding, Ages 8+ is a fantastic gateway for kids aged 8 and up to dive into coding through a tactile and engaging experience. The set includes 87 pieces like color-coded blocks and activity cards that guide children through 16 challenges, facilitating logical thinking and problem-solving without the intimidation often associated with coding. Many users appreciate its beginner-friendly approach and clear structure, although some have pointed out the need for ample play space and the absence of a dry-wipe pen, which is necessary for customizing certain blocks. Overall, this set is praised for making learning how to code feel like play, providing an ideal alternative for kids who may have screen time restrictions.
