Respuesta: Speed controller is a 10k potentiometer, doesn't really need any explanation. It can be replaced with fixed resistors if discrete speed steps are required. -

Respuesta: Don't know what you mean by pin. A two-core comes out of the motor terminal box for the 10k speed control potentiometer and a 3-core mains lead with 13A plug. No pins to break?
