Respuesta: Never, never, never use any type of vegetable oil on any wood food serving product! You all know that vegetable oil gets rancid after some time, and it is now deep into the wood and you can't get it out. You can use mineral oil which can't get rancid, or a special finish such as General Finishes salad bowl finish.

It is not dishwasher safe, but the hand washing only takes a couple of minutes. The set includes the perfect bowl for salads and comes with serving utensils that are also heavy and top-quality.
