The CLEAR2O DirtGuard Sediment Pre-Filter CPF1000 is a washable and reusable pre-filter designed for RV water filtration. It has a 20-micron sediment filter that does not reduce flow rate and is combined with a 1-micron inner filter that reduces flow rate to 2 gpm when dirty. It has three gaskets and comes with a backwash hose for cleaning. The manufacturer recommends changing the filter every six months or as needed, depending on the quality of sediment in the water. It can be attached to the site faucet and can hang from a camper. Although it is designed in the USA, it is manufactured in China. Some customers have reported leakage issues and cracked lids due to UV exposure.
