The light is designed for wear on MOLLE gear and can withstand abuse without the housing becoming reflective. It is also compatible with modern gear and can be mounted on headgear, helmets, and plate carriers. The light is handy for administrative tasks such as reading documents, prepping food, and assembling gear without affecting others' vision. However, it is noted that the light is not suitable for white light navigation.
