The Kryptonite Keeper 12mm U-Lock with FlexFrame-U Bracket is an ideal lock for securing your bike. It is very secure and easy to manoeuvre around the bike, with a mounting process that is uncomplicated. The lock is manufactured in Taiwan and is very strong. The lock does seem to contain lead, but the amount of lead found in the lock should not be a major concern as it is likely miniscule and poses no significant health risk. The mounting bracket is included with the lock and cannot be purchased separately. If you need a replacement bracket, the customer service team can help you out. While the lock does its job and is very secure, some users have experienced difficulties with the locking mechanism, with the tumbler sometimes getting in a weird position that makes it impossible to lock/unlock. Some also found it hard to remove the key from the lock. Overall, the Kryptonite Keeper 12mm U-Lock with FlexFrame-U Bracket is a strong and secure option for those looking for a bike lock.
