Measuring at 4' x 3', it offers enough space for both purposes. The dry-erase board offers good contrast and is easy to clean. The marker tray is a nice feature and is sized well for its purpose. It has a thin corkboard surface that holds pushpins fine at the moment but may not hold up over time. The frame is made of laminate-covered particle board and has a sticker finish to look like oak over pressed wood, which is of low quality and can peel easily. The shelf is smaller than what is pictured. It is not built for heavy-duty use and should last a few years with light use. It is priced reasonably given its features.
