The pot works on an induction cooktop and has a tri-ply base. Customers have found the temperature gauge very helpful in making sure the temperature was set correctly, and many have had success with sealing their jars. The pot is also roomy and can hold plenty of quarts or pints, making processing faster. It is recommended for first-time canners.
