Additionally, it can store serrated knives, and the lid has slots that can accommodate butter spreaders without compromising on storage capacity. However, the product's knife holder for the top part should have been made an inch wider to ensure that the top could close entirely with the knives in place. Moreover, the box used to include an insert for butter knives in the main compartment, but this is no longer included.
