Kryptonite U-Locks GK000990 Editorial Review

The Kryptonite Evolution Mini-7 Bicycle U-Lock with 4 KryptoFlex Double Loop Cable has garnered overwhelmingly positive feedback from users who value security and ease of use. Many customers praise its robust Construction, emphasizing that it can withstand attacks requiring a diamond blade saw, which assures them of their bike's safety. The lock's size strikes a balance, being compact enough to deter thieves while still providing ample space to secure a bike frame and rear wheel to various fixed objects. Beyond just the lock, users appreciate the addition of the KryptoFlex cable. This extra cable allows cyclists to secure both the front and rear wheels, greatly enhancing theft deterrence. Furthermore, users note the affordability of the lock and cable combo, making it an attractive option compared to more expensive models that may offer similar security features but at a higher cost. However, there are some critiques regarding the mounting bracket that comes with the lock. Several customers found the installation process challenging, although they were able to find helpful video tutorials online. The ability to store the cable while riding was also mentioned as a potential improvement area—users have devised individual solutions but express a desire for a more streamlined method. Overall, the Kryptonite Evolution Mini-7 lock has proven itself to be a valuable asset for cyclists concerned about bike security, combining an excellent security profile with a level of convenience that works well for everyday use. **
