Respuesta: There is a metal plate behind it that mounts two bolts. -
Pregunta:
Will it fit between the top of the bag and the saddle? How far do the brackets jut out behind the saddle?
Respuesta: I took a flat steel bar and drilled two holes on it. Then I sandwiched the steel bars for the saddle between the flat steel bar and the bottle holder. I used two screws and nuts to tighten down the bottle holder to the flat bar. It holds very well. It sticks out about 4 inches. -
Pregunta:
Would it be possible to bend the rails so that the mounts are facing the sides instead of the rear?
Respuesta: Not really. The way they lock on the seat is built into them facing backwards. -
Pregunta:
Has anyone bent these to change the angle?
Respuesta: You can change the angle on them. But I recommend once you do, keep that new angle. Changing the angle more than two times will weaken the metal.
