The pen has a matte black finish that should blend with most firearms' finishes. However, some customers found it doesn't match and does not look good. The pen works well for covering scratches on AR-15's receivers and black sandblasted watches but not on black aluminum car rims. Some customers found the pen makes globs of paint instead of creating precise areas, and it cannot be blended, causing terrible results. The product image for a two-pack is false advertising, and the tip becomes useless pretty quickly.
