The Unifi Cloud Key Gen2 Plus is a device that can be used as a Network Video Recorder (NVR) for Unifi cameras only. It has a 1TB hard drive which can be user upgraded to 5TB. The device does not require port forwarding on the router for remote access as it initiates the connection. The Cloud Key comes without a power cable or adapter in the box, and the device requires a 9V and 2A USB power adapter. The device does not include an SD card and larger ones can be installed without any particular limit. The migration of an SD card from a cloud key 1st generation to this device is not possible. Finally, customers have experienced hardware failures despite the Cloud Key being overpriced.
