Ping Pong the Animation is an excellent sports anime with a unique and breathtaking art style, according to the majority of customer reviews. The storyline is well-written and the characters are well-developed and charming. The main character's growth is particularly notable as he starts off unlikeable but becomes a hero of sorts. The blu-ray quality is great, and all discs have lots of extra content. The sound quality is also praised in both English and Japanese. However, some customers had issues with the English dub and the case of the blu-ray set arriving with visible wear and tear.
