Respuesta: Yes, the screen on the bottom of the feeder is small enough to keep millet in. You can put a combination of black oil and wild bird mixture (which includes millet) in the feeder. -

Respuesta: The feeder holds the seed pretty well, but there might be some spillage depending on the amount of activity and like any feeder. However, it is not more than any of my other feeders.
