Answer: They have amazing bass and sound quality to them. You get to choose in the settings on the headphones if you want them in game mode or film/music mode, so it will change for your preference on the Xbox. It also has a 360 audio for games, making you more immersed when you play. -

Answer: Yeah, sound quality is good and there is a clear definition of where people are in the game through the headset. Perfect for those types of games. -

Is there any way to turn on the headset without powering up the Xbox?
Answer: It doesn't seem so, I've just been experimenting with mine and no luck. Every time I turn on the headset, my Xbox fires up as well. The only solution I can see, although not ideal, is removing the power cord from the Xbox before turning on the headset. Sorry. -
