- This full score matches a vocal score in the same series. It is a completely new edition edited by Colin Jagger from Sullivan’s autograph manuscript and the first editions of the vocal score and libretto. It presents some music which was cut by G&S, and makes it possible to perform two songs in the order originally conceived for them, as well as including a commentary. It is part of a complete set of performance materials which also includes a reduced orchestration for a minimum of ten players. All materials are designed to be clear, practical, with good page-turns, etc. Jagger has previously edited The Yeomen of the Guard for Oxford University Press, and Trial by Jury, The Sorcerer, Utopia Limited and The Grand Duke in the present series.
