It can be used both indoors and outdoors. The enclosure is high-grade aluminum which will never rust. This speaker is IP66 rated which means it was tested with strong streams of water and it survived. This speaker has a pleasant sound curve that is perfect for PA applications and music. It goes extremely loud and the sound gets disbursed from (4) 3.5 full range speakers. It has a great throw for medium to large size rooms. The 70 volt tap switch allows you to select 40w, 20w, or 10w. If you use all 48 watts it is extremely loud. There is also an 8 ohm selection if you have an 8 ohm amp. The wall mount kit included is what we consider the best in the industry. It is strong and has a 4 way swivel so you can aim the speaker in the exact direction you want to point it. Installation is quick and easy and we include a how-to video making things simple for beginners or experts.
